I have some questions about another strange idea I have.
I can't explain what I'm doing, really, so here's some shoddy 3d pics I made.
A. I start with my trunk (false floor pending)
B. I put a normal sealed enclosure in the back, subs facing the rear of car, like normal.
C. (tricky part) I then make an amp rack that doubles as a baffle, sealing off the subs from the rest of the trunk. This would (in theory) help with the cancellation issues caused by the horrible placement options of subs in a sedan.
My questions are:
1. Has it been done before?
2. If so, does it work?
Do you see:
- New way of killing off trunk cancellation?
- Waste of MDF?
