Help me decide amp location ***PICS***new glassed sub!

OK guys, im having a hard time figuring out where i want to put my amps...especially because my new one coming tomorrow is gonna be 25 inches long....its a soundstream xta600.2 to match the xta360.2 pushin my IDQ 12 v.3 ....Oh and its my first fiberglass job!! Not bad for an 18 year old..wait now im 19! lol But anyways..trying to make its factory as possible..I will be carpeting it also... Thanks guys!





P.S. Sorry for the mess!!! Im just moving crap around to figure out best place to put the amp....

nice job.

on the back of the rear seats would be fine, but under the front seats would be good b/c its more secure. you could also make a fiberglass amp rack to match the other side.

Thanks guys!! Umm regarding the seats...I cant mount them under the front..not enought room and the back seats are split fold down...Plus that 600.2 amp is 25 inches long...dont really have room to put it under any seat or back of seats...also the battery is in that back right location under the black plastic cover thing..

whatever you think is best. personally, i think it would look cool to have it opposite of your sub at an angle.

ya i think i want them kinda opposite so it has kind of a balanced effect....maybe just twist them sideways kinda and keep them to the rightside...

i would put it just like you have the sub. glass an amp rack on the opposite side just like the others said.

Well shiat! i just went out to measure my trunk and i only have 30 inches from front to back..... not enough for both amps hmm d@mn now im kinda stuck with puting both on the floor.....

glass them upside down, in the spare tire well...flush w/ plexi

quick question.

how hard was carpeting the fiberglass. i would think the carpet would fold and wrinkle since its not a flat surface.

it was a little hard, i only had one seem in the whole thing and you can even notice it, but i used this stuff by 3m call Super77 adhesive spray. That shiat really holds!! otherwise it was cake!
