almost done with my box, need some advice

I have all the tools set aside, and all the wood is cut and everything.
Now i know you need to pre-drill holes in the mdf so it deosnt split. when mounting two pieces together, should i woodglue the corner together, then predrill the two at the same time. or should i just measure the same measurements on the two pieces and pre-drill each seperatly.

thanks for your time, ill accept all tips and tricks.

do not put wood glue on before you glue it once and for all. the wood will break before the glue, esp if you're using gorilla glue.

I always drille the flat peice first, then set it on the end of the other board, drilled that hole, put in a screw, then did the other ones, take out the screw, glue, the screw it all together.

    Worked well for me

No, Andy, I'm sure the context is fine.

it seems so much more complicated then what i thought.

so i should screw the two pieces together like i was building any old box, then take out the screws and glue the two pieces together and glue it, then re-screw.

    what glue do you recomend.

Re: almost done with my box, need some advice

definatly use gorilla glue... it works great...

just wear some gloves or something just in case... its
    nasty on your hands...

countersink is just for appearances... if your going to carpet
    it its not that important...

test fit the box before you glue... drill at least the holes for
the corners so when you glue it together you can get a
    screw right in there quick...

sand the corners round is also a nice touch...

    take your time...

put the back on last so you can silicone the inside easiest...
then once you put the back on you can silicone from the
    front cutout...

let it all dry before you bump...
