2 12" RE SX Box help

on the RE site the sql recommended box specs are 1 ft^3 ported tuned to 32hz. I want more of an spl box. Can someone recommend ft^3 and hz for a more spl focused box for my 2 12" RE SX's. thanks

~2.5 cubes each, 40 hz tuning, 60+ sq in port each. fire the subs towards the roof and the port back at your tailgate.

you seem to be the box expert thanks. Will this still have decent sq? BTW correction to above RE recommends 1.9 cu ft

Well, if it sounds anything like my LIs in their SPL box, it will sound like complete ***.

sorry for me asking but i cant tell whether you meant that in a "it will sound ok in sq " way or "it will sound horrible in sq" way

the SPL box i use sounds horrible lol. its only good for a 56hz tone if you want it to get pretty loud and sound pretty good for daily driving, do ~2 cubes each w/ ~35 sq in port each, tuned to 35hz.

hey sorry for so many questions but if i were to put both into a box would i still do just one 35 sq in port or what? if any of the other specs change when u make a dual box could u please let me know. thanks for all your help its greatly appreciated
