Hey guys,
i'm about to start working on a box for 2 brahma 10s thatwill fit under my backseat of a Z71 2000 model. I've been thinking and i'm gonna build a MDF ported box, and have been thinking of making a fiberglass shell to go over the plain MDF. Will this work? Help!

WHY? FIBERGLASS IS ONLY STRONG ON CURVES! TOO MANY FLAT SURFACES ISN'T SUITIBLE FOR FIBERGLASS. USE AS MUCH MDF AS POSSIBLE ON FLAT SIDES.Originally Posted by ktmchaz159

Exactly. See I can make a good sturdy box out of mdf, and a "beauty panel" out of fiberglass. THe glass will do nothin more than look good.sound good? and wil lit work. yeah the large letter thing was an error on my part, i didn't know how large the 7 font was. ahha

Why not? it will look good! I run my seat up most times, soooo. Iknow it's a lot of work, but hey. i got plenty of time.:d
