spray glue, make sure you spray on then let sit for like 45 seconds then put on then put weight on it, that works best for me
I like contact cement.

3M-77 or 3M-90. Contact cement would also work, but for a large job spray adhesive makes much more sense.Originally Posted by RogerWilco

3M spray adhesive. As vossch said spray both surfaces, let it tack before attaching, and it'll never come off.
i gave up on spray adhesive... ive moved on to using a
hot glue gun... it works awesome and is less of a mess
than the spray glue which kinda ***** at sticking...

DAPs contact cement.. my dad is a union carpet layer and thats what he always tells me to use.. and hes been doing carpet for 31 years so i trust himu can pick a can up at lowes and probaly home depot.
oh if u use this.. dont get the gel.. and apply it to both the carpet and the box...this stuff has a very strong odor so make sure this is done outside... let it dry for a day too or ur car will stink like it.... after u let that cure i garauntee ur carpet wont come off and will look good.

You must be doing something wrong, 3M-77/90 stick very, very well.Originally Posted by g30ffr3y

Well you're definitely doing something wrong, they make a very strong adhesion. It's sort of similar to contact cement, you have to spray both sides fairly generously and wait at least a minute before you adhere them to each other, otherwise it won't work.Originally Posted by g30ffr3y
