    clay kick panels?

    Random thought:

What if, instead of fiberglass, I were to just make kickpanels out of clay? Just cover the area (no need for clay in the carpet), shape the clay accordingly, fire, and glue carpeting? I don't think midbass could vibrate enough to break it, and they'd be heavy enough they're not going anywhere.

Random thought #.... uh... previous random thought+1.

    Re: clay kick panels?

you should get yourself clay expoxy kinda thing, the one i used on my kickpods. As what you were thinking, it is clayish, easy to shape and hardens like concrete.

    Re: clay kick panels?

Sounds good. I'd really like to be able to make my own kick panels without having to use fiberglass.
