Two Quick questions

I'm building a box for my tempest and was wondering how big the cutout needs to be for the sub? I found this site and under SPECS it says cutout- 13 15/16"
I was wondering if that was size of the hole i need to make for the sub. My next question is my friend said that i need a gasket or something for when I mount the sub there wont be any air leaks. That sounds about right for the cutout.....unless its a 12 inch sub.
You can use different foam tapes for a gasket, look around at Lowes or Home Depot around where they ahve weather stripping etc. Find one that will mash down all the way and not leave any gaps.
