    How many cubes for tempests??

    Hey i am doin an install with 2 tempests.... im gonna tune the box to 35 hz... but how many cubes should i give each of the tempests?????

    Box: 7.5 cubes Tuned to 45hz with 150sq in of port...

    I gave mine about 6.5 cubes each. Sounds real good.

    You've got quite a bit of room in that SUV I would imagine ... so I'd say a minimum of 4 cubes + per driver.

    well actually, its going in a 97 avalon, but we do have alot of room to work with... the guy that im puttin it in for, wants it to be loud, but sound good.... so like im tunin it kinda low, 35hz (every install i have done i have tuned it at 45-48 hz)... so like i am thinkin about makin the box around 8 cubes..... is that about right??

    8 cubes would work...not that giving 'em some more space would hurt. Tuning slightly lower wouldn't hurt either (30hz), they'll still get loud.
