    Re: Box for 1 15" l7 in a 2002 ford escort

i just buil a box thats 5.5^3ft with a port plug tuned ti 30&50hz i got a deal on some wood and they guys ended up cutting some extra peices so i would be able to make a second box. i also got some wood left over for the remander of the parts. so i could probably make you a box if youd like. or i could cut all the peices and give you the plans and you could assemple it yourself.

Im pretty sure he wants someone to build the whoel thing for him. I have a friend with an escort, he ran 2 bahn subs in a bahn ported enclosure...it sounded decent for an escort.

i see you decided against the 4 audiobahns---IMO good choice those were some pretty low end subs--i think with the proper box design you'll be real happy with the L7. Any ideas on the amp you'll be runnin?

    Re: Box for 1 15" l7 in a 2002 ford escort

depends if you have dual 4ohm or dual 2 ohm vc's---if they are dual 2 ohm you need an amp thats 1 ohm stable say a hifonics 1000 but if they are dual 4's you can get away with 2 ohm stable and i'm not too sure of any amps that put out 1000w rms at 2 ohms. just check around a bit on ebay and such. maybe someone in the forum has an amp to sell.
