    how do you i guess tune a box to hz?

    i was wonderin i hear ppl there are like my box is 2.7 cu ft at 37hz what does the hz mean? i know what it means but what does it mean to a box how to i guess tune it?

    Tuning the box is done by making your port a certain length, in order to acheive ressonance (sp?) from a certain note. The lower you tune, in general, the better SQ you acheive.

    maybe you can help me a bunch? im not tryin for SPL competitions or Db **** im just wantin something good for everyday use maybe you can help me with port size, heres the dems ''

    I'm guessing that this is your overall box?

    If so, what size and type of sub are you using and what do you want it to sound like?

    Also, how much power will you be running to it?
