Yeah i'm going to tell him that

On my system would there be a huge difference between tuning to 32 Hz or tuning to a higher freq. ? In terms of listening music , not SPL meters ?
I don't quite get the tuning part yet , would anyone care to explain it to me please ? Thanks

    What exactly is "tuning" ?
Tuning high will be what you call loud , in terms of SPL ? but a lower tuning freq. shoudn't produce more pressure when playing lower freq. ?

Ok, i'm back again with a couple of questions
I'm still working up and down to raise money for the amp/HU/wiring ...

I planned the box this way:

Should i make the side of the box where the sub is slanted ? or is it ok this way (making 90degrees with the rest of the sides)

    Thanks!

either way, doesn't really matter. It is slightly harder to make a slanted box, so they may charge you more to make it, but I dunno about how shops charge cuz I have never had them do it for me.

Re: My first subwoofer Part 2 : Box design , help needed .. again

Ok , thanks again man !
I don't know what's up with people around here , everybody tells me to go with a high tuning freq.

A bit offtopic : what wires do i need ? Does anybody have a link to tutorials about wiring , getting started or something like that ?
I understand that all of you use welding cable (and you get free gloves too ) but i don't think that i'm able to get hold of any around here. The guy from the shop where i purchased the sub recommended me a Rockford wiring kit. Anyway i'll let the pro's do the install for me but i want to know what's best

I'll getting an Alpinde CDE-9827 HU , 4 volt sub out.
So i need wires to :
    -wire the voicecoils together
-wire the amp to the battery
-wire the HU to the battery (?)
-wire the HU to the amp

The amp is going to be Rockford i guess. the 301M or the 351M.

**** i'm here posting again , instead of working so i can afford the components
