    which one to use ?

    box build weekend (aeroport) what wood should i use for 2-12" on about 5k dont want to use MDF not a fan of it Thanks in advance

    if it's a single baffle... the best you can get... I'm not sure what to call what type of birch that's readily available?

    I would strongly suggest avoiding HD because their wood isn't all that great and full of voids you may not see. I got my last birch from a local lumber company. It's actually baltic birch, came in 5x5 ft sheets, ended up buying two.

    Yep... even the Lowe's here has better quality lumber than HD

    Pine is what I use 95% of the time. That "birch" is pine with a very thin birch veneer.

    Only time I buy the "birch" is when its on sale for $35 a sheet. It tends to be a little straighter.

    yeah 3/4 or i could double up and make it 1.5 , i just been reading about the birch sold today its not pure birch , theres no local lumber yards around here anymore
