    DD9512 enclosure

So, I've spent the last few days reading and reading and reading. I think ive figured this out, but thought maybe it would be a good idea to get some opions on what ive come up with.

    DD says for a 2.75^ft enclosure, V=44^in, 20.5" long.
    My trunk space allows for 15.5" H X 36" L x 15" D, taking storage space into consideration.

I will provide a sketch (sorry, its only been two days, didnt want to learn cad as well) with what ive come up with.
Feel free to modify for better dimensions withing limits.

    Re: DD9512 enclosure

Ok, first design was wrong. Realized that i calculated port length wrong. And measurements were a little obscure. Here is the revised design. Opions?

This is done on my phone. Sorry for poor quality.

buy a 4" port from psp-inc and run that. slot ports are no good, especially ones with bends in them.

I have had several boxes with bent ports, and one with a folded port design, they were all exceptional sounding enclosures.

    Re: DD9512 enclosure

I too have designed, built and used dozens of slot ported boxes over the years that as was stated sounded exceptional....

    Re: DD9512 enclosure

So, it turns out there im an idiot and was completely wrong about my subwoofer model. Its actually a 2512. opps. Not that it matters. DD still recommends the the same enclosure size. I decided to go for a 2.5 ft3 net enclosure. v40, port length is 20.5(22.25 with 90 degree bend). Im pretty sure i have this right. I decided to learn how to use SketchUP last night. And this is what i came up with.

Yes or No? I'm new to this, im not asking for someone to do the work for me. i've done my research, im just looking for a conformation that im right.
