i was considering purchasing this 4000 watt 1/2 ohm, Boss amp and i was wondering if someone could help check it out for me and make sure its sweet,

i was also wondering if i would need a new alt, batter or capacitators
also could someone help me pick out 2 subs to go along with 'em, thanks for helpin me out. oh, and im primarily putting this together for loudness not quaility so the woofers are going in a ported box.

alright so boss is garbage, as in garbage that doesnt last, or garbage that doesnt work in the first place, or garbage as in performance?
i was also wondering what the max additional output of watts i could get, without changing my alt or bat? anyone have an idea? i have a 1998 ford explorer 4x4

im looking to get a system for my truck, that can be as loud as possible, i dont care about the quality, im looking for 2 15" subs, 4 new door speakers, and two new amps one for subs and one for the doors (or just one if thats possible), i have a 200 watt blaupunkt in dash reciever, its garbage and has multiple problems already, but it puts out more than its fare share of power. i was looking into amps, and noticied a 6 channel surrond amp, if im just looking for loudness not quality, should a stray from using these?
any suggestions on what i should look into is greatly appreciated.
(im looking to spend max 500$) not including a possible capacitor

alright well im considering this sub, its 2000w continous and 4000 max
if i end up needing a new alt or bat, then i guess ill go lower watt ?

from what i've heard audiobahn is awesome, the sub weighs 60 lbs anyone know anything i should know about this particular sub?

well Audiobahn is about what you are looking for, cheap and loud but no sound quality
