oh and want to be tuned around 31hrtz maybe 30, thought 4" wide port sounded good if it's too much let me know
well came up with a 5" wide port 19.5" high and 26" deep tuned to 31.46, 7.77 net volume and 1.99sq ft of port area wich comes to 12.55 inches of port per foot sound good???? Anyone? lol
i can match this when i use 7.5 ft^3 rather than 7.77 ft^3

i used Car Audio - PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES
4x 12" HDC3's
1x Hifonics Maxximus (rated 10,[email protected])
2x Powermaster D3100
8x runs of 0 gauge
1x stock alt
155.2 dB legal (vehicle off and @50Hz) in a Ford exploder
well thanks for the advice but i am going with the optimal ported specs on the website, the box is a little complicated but I imagine it will sound great
