@double 07 ;
@DonH :)
i have 2 already built .i'll sell you one if you like
who has plans for a box of these years what 88 through 98 extend cab are all same correct? where would i look a lill deeper for more info
material wise ,cost $80 and about 2 days build time on these boxes .now i have 3 built 2 for 8's and 1 for 10's
board 30? screws 10 tops i use grk finish screws 1 and 5/8 and some glue? 3 dollars? caALK? 3.00?
Width 56-3/4" X Front Height 10" X Rear Height 6-1/4" X Depth 13-1/4 with out rasing my seat would be ideal and this is the demensions i just copied the measurements of ebay so with that amount of space it says like 1.90 cubic feet of airspace is it possible to fit one ported 8 or 10 i would like the sub facing down and have the port facing my third door i want the sub firing down for security reasons ill then bolt or strap the seat down so the box will not come out inless they come prepared! how much would a box like this cost to have built and shipped to 48503 flint mi would like carpet
ok down fire your gonna lose 2 inches ,so that the sub doesnt slap against the floor and the mounting depth will be very shallow less than 5 inches as well,if you want a good sub.forward is the best way to get the most the most from your subs and it leaves more options. you can always put a grill over the sub to protect it . oh and btw,wood $35 screws $7 ,glue $7 carpet $20 ,paint $6 caulking $4 spray glue $10 so thats $89 alone .and you still need terminals and sand paper
so better off sealed then ur saying? i would be very limited you are correct cant have em forward to many street walkers and i have kids i coulld by grills but nahh firing down itll have to be
yea sealed and look for thinner mounting subs .65 per sub ported is fine ,if you can swing it my one box is lifted off the ground about 2 inches ,i might be able to replace the front baffle and cut the holes for down fire .would need a cut out diameter and full sub diameter and mounting depth.
