I am upgrading from a RE SE15 with a ported box tuned @ 32hz. What are the best dimensions to make this box out of? I was thinking of tuning it to around 28-30hz. How do you tune and all that stuff this is my first time making a box and I am pretty n00bish..

E-mail adire for some plans. They will give you a good box plan. Also ask how much power you can give it. Make sure you arn't overpowering it. Nothing over 1000 watts.

It really depends on what you are looking for. A good SQL alignment would be 2 cubic feet tuned to 28 Hz. For dimensions: 14.5” x 14.5” x 18” Internal (includes speaker displacement) port: 4” dia x 17” long
