Why are you using 1/2" MDF for a box that's 5.7cubes gross?

No to the 1/2" mdf.....as far as subs go Mustangs have tiny trunks as you can tell by the 24" width....I would prob contact Double 07 and have him build you a fully loaded enclosure for two SA 8s at say 33hz and call it a day.....Big bass in a small space....or if you want more....maybe shrink depth some to get cf correct and run three 10s.......

Agreed, 1/2" is simply not going to cut it for your setup.

    I would do 2 10's ported myself.

    Ford Mustang 94 04 Subwoofer Sub Box Enclosure 2 10" | eBay

trunks are small, my buddy taz at srq customs has built a bunch of these boxes. i would prob do 2 8's ot 10's max in a ported box for your car audio as double07 said.

the dual 8 1.25 cube box all decked out for 2 sa-8's with kerf etc for 145 shipped is what i would do and would get 2 sa-8's and be done. put them on a nice amp and you will be extremely happy in the right professionally built box
