Wall building..contoured floor vs raised floor
Designing/building the front floor of my wall now. Not sure which way to do it.
If I raise the floor at the front I lose a bit of volume but its much easier to build the floor itself aswell as baffles will be easier with the floor being flat.
With the floor contoured I gain a bit of volume which I dont really need.
In other words should I build like this...

Orrr...would it be worth the extra work to build like this..

if u dont need the space in the contour then raise the floorand save ur self some time and headache ..the raised floor will also allow u to hide amps batteries and wiring

if i do raise the floor its going to be solid 2x4s...amps and batts will be at the back.
Im thinking I may raise it slightly and then create a gradual taper downward...not cut it right as tight to the floor as the grey/silver install above....the taper will act as a flare if I ever decide to do a wedge style wall.

I would keep it raised if I had the space just for the fact it would be easier. That is why I said which do you feel like doing :D
