sounded good for a minute until bob marley appeared in the back also i got it to work with the other set of push terminals but it sounds fucked up i think it is still under warranty.. BUT i cracked the basket trying to break a striped screw that was in the box so ill have to see if they will take it back.. i mean i just got everything back yesterday now i gotta start the wait processes all over again

whats really weird is i took it to my car to finish it off an it dont sound bad still gives off deep bass with no rattling noise.. did i burn out a voice coil?

Throw a multimeter on them coils and see what's up. If smoking something was going wrong. Still man, I'd upgrade. There's good stuff out there for a good price if you know what to look for.

Try free airing the mofo, see if you can hear anything mechanical going on.

R.I.P. Mofo...The new ones are str8 garbage.Yeah it should be illegal for companies to inflate ratings just to rip you off.

if you have to buy s $100ish 15" sub, get a Audiopipe TXX series. Specifically, the ones with the fiber cones. Those cheap subs are actually pretty beast. 3" coil on the TXX- BE15

You more than likely didn't set your amp right and were clipping it to hell.
