Ok guys building a box fo a buddy for a pair of sundown e15's

Vented box tuned to 35 hertz at 8 ftcu

1 vent at 18" tall 4" wide 11.36" long
Vent displacement at .562 cubic ft
Net volume 8 cubic ft. Gross volume at 8.562

Box deminsions 40 wide 18"tall 20.55 deep internal deminsions

I used winisd v.44 and all my numbers seem right I just wanna get a check on them before I start cutting up this mdf.

Box is being made out of .75 mdf and was figured into displacements..


So am I on the money or way off??

looks close enough ..... how are you getting 20.55 internal? typo? i figured it @ 20.5 in case it was and got 8.541xxxxxxxxxx
so based on that that port could be a hair shorter but if you keep it 11.25 ish it will be fine like 33.xxxx/34ish
of course this is all assuming a slot port with a top and bottom peice of mdf to make up the diff (from 20.5 internal and 18 int port )if you made it from top to bottom (i.e. 20.5x4 ) and make it 11.75 in length it will also put you right @ 35 hz
