Looks good. Though if you can get that port any higher that would help quite a bit.

Re: My first sketchup attempt, 4 MMATS 12" 4th order bandpass

you need the tuning high on the ported section because the sealed section will take care of the low end ,this way you'll get a wide range of frequencies that the box can and will play .

Re: My first sketchup attempt, 4 MMATS 12" 4th order bandpass

with 4th orders the vented section handles the high freq and the sealed handles the low end.

I know it might sound better with vent moved higher but i wanted to look of being able to see the subs through the vent. Is there an audible difference in sound?

Question for you guys, do fourth orders have better or worse low end response than a regular ported box?

every 4th order i've had has murdered the low end notes... I've yet to have a ported box hit the lows like a 4th order...

Re: My first sketchup attempt, 4 MMATS 12" 4th order bandpass

if i do this correctly I should have the ability to step up from the 4 12's when i get bored with them to 8 12's with minimal work.
