The manual for my ed5.10 says 1.0 @30 hz or 1.2 @ 35 hz. I can build my box but how do I figure out what size and length of port to tune to 30 or 35 hz? Any help? Thanks in advance

You going to do slot or round port?

Round would be easier but I'm open to either. I've never understood how 2 figure it out.

Anyone?
Could do a 4" round port but it would have to be like at least 20"s

Will I need that much for each sub? Or could I use 1 port and 1 chamber for the subs? I see slotported boxes with 1 port
So your wanting like 2.4 cubic feet? I didn't know you had 2 of them. Then you could do 2 4" ports at like 23" long each or could do 1 6" port about 23" long.... but would need to make the box around 2.7 cf or so inside
Torre's box calculator has all the information you'll ever need right on the screen, tuning, port area, port area per cubic foot, gross and net volumes after all displacements etc. etc.

Thanks

Will I be able to download this to my phone? I don't have a computer right now
Probably not, if you get me your maximum measurements, and which kind of port you want, and which directions you want sub and port to fire, I can make one up and take a picture of it for you to have on your phone.

Ok. I will do it when I get back up. Thanks

My measurements are 36 wide 16 tall 24 deep max
You don't need to use that much port area with a round port
For something quick and simply though just do subs/port back. Keep it around 2-2.25ft3 net volume with moderate port area and you should just fine. If you are wanting to use round ports then you can use much less port area then a slot port.
