I want a box that hits low but still has upper bass. My last box was tuned at 35hz. The 1 i m using now is 39hz. I like the way this 1 sounds but miss the lower end. Is there a box design that will do both? I've only had very little experience with ported.

In the 35hz box was one 12" mofo. Now I have a pair of powerbass 12s. S series I think in the 39hz box. I'm open to getting different subs if that's what it takes

Do you use the rear of the truck for anything other then the enclosure or is that why you are wanting to stay with smaller subs? Just curious as you have a good bit of area back there.

I have 2 stay behind the back seat. I thought about taking 1 half of backseat out for batteries and amps but not sure if I still wnna go that big

You can fit 2 12s in the back very easy and still have room for amps/batteries.

How can I get it 2 hit both low and upper bass? Is it my subs?

Could you give some examples of what you mean by upper and lower bass? Perhaps songs that you can reference them too?

My 35 hz box hit real good n low on 3 6 mafia late nite tip. Upper bass is allt the metal I listen too. Mostly 5 finger death punch, metallica, etc
