To find the displacement of a 1" dowel thats 12" long is the formula 1x3.14x12 /1728?
Headunit : Kenwood Excelon KDC-X396
Front : Memphis PR 6.5s
Sub : DAD KMH 12
Amp : Rockford Fosgate R500-1
I put on
pi r ^2, the radius of a dowel with a 1" diameter is .5".
3.14 * (0.5)^2 * 12
or
3.14 * 0.25 * 12
or
3.14 * 3 = 9.42
9.42 / 1728 = 0.005 in^3
HUH?
Area of a circle = diameter x diameter x .7854
1" * 1" * .7854 = .7854
.7854 * 12 = 9.4248
9.4248 / 1728 = .0054 ft^3
