If you want bass, go with ported or sealed box?

I got 2 12 inch Rockford HX2's punch. My trunk space is not that great. I do want alot of bass with decent to good sound quality. Should I go with ported or sealed?

you should port the box

well with those subs theyll get plenty loud even sealed with the right wattage. but theyll get even louder ported.

If you do port tune very low. If you don't they will be really loud and sound like poo poo.

It's possible.

Would take some calculation to get the plug just the right size to get the enclosure down to a good sized one for your subs. Not that difficult at all, though.

You'd still have to make sure that it's all sealed up as well.
