building a box for a friend its gonna be 1 alpine type s 12" sub alpine calls for 1.55 optimum ported so the box is gonna be 14"x14"x20" which roughly is 1.86 cubes now my calculation is that with 2 2" areo ports to tune to 32hz they are both gonna need to be 8.4" long my question will that be enough port area?
Might need more port area....

Why not just use one 4"?

my friend wanted 2 so figured id make it to his liking
A single 3 would be fine for that sub so I would assume 2 2"s would probably be okay. do you think you could try 2 3"s and just lengthen them to where it is tuned correctly?
