anybody have 1st hand hearing of a snailshell enclosure? how would you compare its SQ to a sealed or low tuned ported box? I know its supposed to be significantyl louder than both but how is the SQ?

If built and tuned correctly (a lot of time and effort to get it right) they can sound nearly perfect and get really loud doing it without a lot of power. The major drawbacks are they are huge and extremely tedious to get right.
