Enclosure size / port area recommendation

Hey guys. I'm going to build a new box for my 2 skar vvx 12's. The enclosure I have now came free with the subs. It is about 3.5 ft tuned to about 36 hz. It only has about 10 sq inches of port per cube. Sounds ok, but I believe more port area would be better. I'm thinking 3.5 cubes is good for the pair, but does anyone have any recommendations on tuning and port area? Thanks.

More port area can have more output but not sound better in every case.

I would aim for like 40-50 in^2 of port tuned in the low 30's. Those skar's like low tuned boxes.

OP if you can give them around 4 cubes net for the pair with 40 to 50in^2 with a low 30s tune like Kangaroux suggested I think you will wake em up.....

is that port via rectangle port or round port?
