Building a box tuning help and other

I am trying to build a box for a DD9512 and it says to be tuned at 30hz, I have the demensions of the box at

    Width - 26"
    Height - 15"
    Depth - 24"

But with the port being at 3" wide and 12" long, that puts the volume of the box on RE designer at 3.414 whereas the box they recommend is 2.5, and the tune is at 27.33hz, I read that you have to personally account for the displacement yourself, so will the displacement of the sub make this up or do I need to tune it a bit higher? I am hoping to figure out my build on RE and then transfer it over to make it a bit more unique. Thanks

I can design you a box. I doubt you want to tune it that low though. You want to be around the 32-35 range in my opinion. Vehicle?

2005 ford explorer with the third row laid down I thought with the displacement it would be around 30, thats the only reason its that low. I'm also trying to build an amp rack to keep my amp cool.
