    6" or 3 3.5" aeros?

    Hey guys, im building a 4th order box for two tens and the ported side is 3 cubes net would 3 3.5" aeros be better then one 6"? Just curious since I have lengths of both in my garage.




    2004 Ford F-150:
    HU: Panasonic CQ-C8803U
    (4) Polk MM 6x8s, (4) Kicker CVR 10s
    RD 1750.1 & MTX BTP 504
    2 runs 1/0 Welding Cable, 8awg & 14awg speaker wire, Optima YT, Custom BP 215 amp Alt, Big 3 in 1/0

    Actual aeroports or just PVC pipe, because there are no 3.5" aeros that I know of.

    Both sizes are pvc and I always make roundover edges also from mdf

    I would do more port area than that, but what 10's are they?

    Kicker cvr tens 2 of them. More port area for 3cubes? I have some 8" I can use as well

    I like to use about half the sd of the subs, so an 8" port would be more ideal.

    Bandpass boxes don't unload like ported boxes, so you can get away with more port area.

    Good question bc I had 4 cvr tens ported with one 8" aero. Would I have been better off using 2 8" aeros on 4 10s? never mind lol buck answered my question lol I think ill try an 8" first and I can make adapters to go smaller if I want to try.
