    You can probably go a little lower man but you wont notice a ton of difference...

    O ya we have a 77 Highboy we beat the hell out of and it keeps going... Also a 79 4 door which is the next project

    It's going to be really peaky since it's a higher Qts sub that you'd be tuning a good deal over it's Fs. Either go sealed or do a smaller box tuned low, like 3ft^3 at 28hz, to avoid the peakiness that comes with porting a higher Q value sub. But if you just want it to get loud, then the box you described will certainly do that...it just won't necessarily be the smoothest response curve out there.
