I think the guy is wanting to do a bunch of speakers in that area, but I did it mainly to avoid having the port go into the ported chamber and be too close to the subs.

It's for fifteens going in a Tahoe. That'd be a good idea for those dead spaces, but he's doing one amp per sub.
