    Do you like this design?

    This is what I plan to put in my Explorer. 2 18" Fi BL's. Box is 44w x 44.75d x 20.5h. Approximately 6.5 cubic feet per chamber (thanks ram), tuned to 28 hz. 2 ports are 20.5 x 4.

    why the BLs tho unless you can get them dirt cheap or already have them, id go with the Qs.

    That should KILL the lows. I'd love to meet up with ya and hear this! Too bad I'm ~3 1/2 hours away... But maybe someday I'll come toward that way. and damn, wish I could get that kinda of deal on 2 18s!

    what year is your explorer, because I had a design drawn up for a single 18" that fit over the wheel wells of a 96-01, and would look clean as a mug

    Starting to prepare the truck, tore down the rear hatch area and took out the stock sub.

    Yep I was quite excited. I would like do something like 4 Fi Q 15"s. I loved my Fi Q 15". Do 16 cubic feet tuned to like 26 hz...
