    round port question

Is it ok to mount the port outside of the box? I am trying to save space and not do a slot port. I'd like to mount them half in the box and half out. Would it be ok to do this as long as I compensate for whatever displacement the port tube takes up?

Cool thats what I figured. I assume an aeroport mounted this way should be screwed in from the inside?

if your securing it to the inside i suggest a brace for it unless its going to be completely out of the enclosure
