    WinSID

    ok posted a thing last night but no one really helped me out so i got another request for someone to help me out a lil...

    i am trying to learn how to work it but idk how cause i cant just read mess and understand it.. i am a hands on guy so i need a lil extra help compared to others. so if there is anyone out there who can give me step by step instructions for the basics and what to look for that would be great.

    I hate that stupid ****** winisd instead i do everything by calculator, and google sketchup.

    well idk how to do either and i have heard about the WinISD not google sketch...

    and why do u hate it. cant use it either?

    Quick question, are you using the WinISD Pro alpha version, or the regular WinISD? The pro version is ridiculously sensitive, I don't use it.

    your T/S parameters are jacked.

    Not sure what size yours is, but your Vas for example is 5x more than the 18, and your xmax is 2x.
    You need to make sure when you enter your t/s data that the units in winisd are the same as what the manufacturer provides. You can change winisd's units simply by clicking on the unit.

    I would recommend starting with the non-pro version first, but having learned both I don't think you'll be any worse off if you just continue working with the pro. You seem to have gotten far enough that if you just get the units right you might have a model to work with.

    One of the best things about winisd pro and non-pro is the help. Although help won't work with my Vista OS. I learned it almost entirely through help on my old xp system.

    and it should be tuned too 23 not 41.69 i changed the port so i guess it auto changed it
