    Help w/ End Correction

I'm designing a box for a friend and found some conflicting info on end correction. I need to know which of the 2 designs would be more appropriate since the port is short and doesn't involve any bends.

Pic#2 will give you a more accurate estimate of 'in-car' tuning.

Also, the distance the port opening is from a wall in the vehicle will also change tuning. Say your port is 4" wide and 4" away from the back wall of the car. It will behave as if it is tuned lower than your on paper calculations. It will be slightly lower.
