Yes a sierra is bigger than a sonoma, but an 18 is still an 18, and thats a ****** 18 you have there. It still should move the same air that it did in the other truck. I dont think it's your box as much as it is probably your wiring. Did you leave a coil unhooked? Did you wire to the correct impedance( I assume 1 ohm for that amp). Check your rca's, gains etc etc. I can see a small drop in output, probably only noticable on a meter. Heck, with a bigger cab, It may even sound better and deeper.
