ported box for 2 DD 1508's?!?

last question before i buy all the stuff for new system. so far it looks at 2 DD 1508's with CF caps, and hopefully a DD M3, ill be running 1k to each sub. what size box should i have and what frequency? ive had a box at 28hz and another box at 34 hz. the 28 was too low and the 34 was just ok... i want some lows but i also want highs. what would be a good size and freq? 40hz?

DD has a huge section on their website about boxes. Personally I would do about 35-40hz with 8s

ok i was thinking like 38-40 hz it seems the high bass notes or more audible rather than lows. lows seem to make the car flex mostly. i listen to rock and rap so i would like a higher freq for rock punchy hits but still some lows for rap. thank you for the help any more insight as well?

Just go with an external aero so you can change tunings easily.

ok great i cant wait to get this system going. i wold do external aero but im trying to save room. when i build my box would it be better to go with aeros? how do i configure the tuning with aeros?
