Was wondering what would the specs be for a box that would hold one 500watt 12inch sub.
The amp is a jensen A400HLX. The box will be put in a trunk of a 1985 VOLVO 244DL

The sub is a ALPINE, SWR-1241D-1000watt max. 500 nominal? I guss.
4FT wide left to right, 1ft deep, 2ft front to rear.

I'd go a little bit bigger than the recommended volume......for your dimensions, is it 1 foot depth or 2 foot, and what's the height? Your explanation is confusing.....# sealed box volume: 0.7-1.0 cubic feet
# ported box volume: 0.75-1.75 cubic feet

The height is 1foot- top of trunk to floor of trunk.
The with is 4foot- quarter panel to quarter panel.
Lenght is 2foot- back of seat to tail lights.
Please bare with me as im not into stereos just starting,know nothing.
