    Box size for one 12inch?

    Hi all.
Was wondering what would the specs be for a box that would hold one 500watt 12inch sub.
The amp is a jensen A400HLX. The box will be put in a trunk of a 1985 VOLVO 244DL
Any and all help would be great, THANKS

    # sealed box volume: 0.7-1.0 cubic feet
    # ported box volume: 0.75-1.75 cubic feet
I'd go a little bit bigger than the recommended volume......for your dimensions, is it 1 foot depth or 2 foot, and what's the height? Your explanation is confusing.....
