only thing I cnathink of that would makeit sound differnet.. box flex and maybe some wierd reverbations and resonance
1/2" is ok in some low power installs, though I would still suggest that you use 3/4" or larger material whenever possible.Originally Posted by tony7
The aforementioned flexing can be resolved with some internal bracing if need be. And yes, you should be able to notice a difference between a flexing box and a non flexing box, if that's what you're wondering.
