    placement help

    How far from a wall is ideal for port placement for 4" ports?
    What is the sub placment in relation to the port works best?
    Im building my new enclosures and this is something i dont know as much about so i wanted to learn a little b4 I start designing.



    Car: 2005 Chevy single cab
    Electrical: Big 3 w/ 0 guage stock 145 amp alt. Kinetik hc1800
    Head Unit: Pioneer cheapo
    Comps: Pioneer cheapos
    Comp amp:Lightning Audio S4.500
    Sub: changes almost daily
    Sub Amp: DD M3
    Wires: 0 Guage knu.
    Deadening: ~100 sq ft Edead

    depends on vehicle ? what vehicle?

    and port should be @ least 2-4 inch from a solid surface if it must fire towards a wall but the more you can get the better
