15" HW Box design

Hey all. Im thinking im gonna hold onto my hw's for a while. Im gonna run one of them in my trunk. Ive heard box sizes from 2.5-3.5. And im not really 100% on tuning. These are the SPL versions so they prolly wont go real low. I was thinking 36hz maybe 40hz? Not really sure. What have you guys done?

mine was 3.8 at 44hz i wish i woulda tuned lower tho to like 40hz

Im thinking around 38 or so. Idk how low they will get since they are the SPL version, kinda disapointing. Steve was supposed to send em the daily version too

I run 4.5 cubes a piece with mine. They dont need a huge port either

only diff really i think is the coil for the daily is longer. shouldnt really change it too much

They have a single spider tho. Mine is stiff as hell

yeah it should not be that great on music. Dont expect anything below 35 hz out of it rly. But yeah tune between 36-40hz, and 12 sq in of port/cube

Yea i want the daily version. May still sell and buy some CD Omega's just bacause i cant afford to properly power both of them lol.

I had a double spider elite spl 15 in a 2cube box an at 3 cube box for daily tuned around 40 to 45 both boxes sounded good but subs wasn't liking it too much cause they can't streetbeat like the ones i have now. i reconed it an got a alpha double spider daily sub now an it gets down an durty on the lows man, got it in a 3.9 cub box after displacement now an its nasty got to get some vids of it up an oh its my first low tuned box tuned at like 36hz an i love it.
