I have notice alot of guys no on here but in my area filling their sealed boxes wit something that looks like cotton What does that **** do and could i use cotton to do it if it works ?

I've used polyfill a time or two in my day, but only in sealed enclosures. It's been said that polyfill will somewhat fool a sub into performing like it's in a bigger enclosure. Anytime I have serious confinement issues, I'll line the box with the stuff. I don't know for sure if it does a d*mn thing to be quite honest, but I've been guilty of doing it from time to time...

Ok i wont do it til i listen to these subs a lil anyone got a cheap line out coverter they want to get rid of some how mine has gone missing and need it to finish this install

to my understanding polyfill reduces back pressure making the sub feel like it is in a larger enclosure.
