box design help please

can someone design me a new box for my RE SE 15. displacement is 0.17 ft^3
4 cubic foot after all displacement, and i want angles in the corner of the port and angled port. tuned around 35hz.

or can someone teach me how to figure it all out? =]

angled port? Your max dimensions would be helpful too...

its going in a impreza hatch, so around 35" wide, 30 deep, and how ever tall

have you tried to google "port calculator"? You will find some very useful calculators...

you don't want to go to wide
to much port area can also be bad
so if a 5" wide by w/e port equals 25 in^2 of port area per ft^3 it may not work well this is why port tunning is so imPORTant /rule of thumb for slots is 12-16 in^2 per ft^3 of net volume
that being said I've gone both bigger and smaller with good results and with not so good results
it all depends on set up box/subs/vehicle/imp rise/voltage/etc......
not to be a DB but you should hit up some one to DESIGN you an enclosure
you can still build it but that way you kno what the outcome will be b-4 building it so no after building most guys here will charge $5-15
some will do it free / some will give you simple design and some will provide cutsheets and assembly sheets (so easy ,a caveman could do it ) so it is worth it to ask for design quotes and get it right 1st time /not that you wouldn't but better to be sure

port is 5" by 12.5 inches. so thats what 62.5in^2?
box is 3.5ft^3 and tuned at 35 hz

Here's a free design I made a while back. It's pretty much exactly what you need. The port will be side-firing, though. With your width, that shouldn't be a problem.

i dont remember for sure but i think the box is 30" x 30" x 14"
port is 29 1/4" long

and to explain the 45 degree in the corner of the port.... it is so the corner of the port will have continuous width and not get larger then smaller again like in a corner ....
