    I know, nobody likes Kicker

...but I have one. I am just trying to build a sealed box with the max enclosure volume (5.2 cu feet) for a 07cvr154 and I cant figure it out. I "found" a copy of bassbox 6 pro but of course my sub isnt listed. I have tried to find all of the specs for it to no avail. Can somebody break down the info that I need potato head style or does anybody have the bassbox file for that sub?

Please help. Before this project I never even installed a HU. Now I installed the HU, comp speakers for all 4 doors, and amp for speakers, and amp for the sub and I am feeling pretty good about it except for the box. Sorry to say, I cheaped out on the box and it is pissing me off. I'm not going to say where I got it, but it rhymes with schmest schmy. I NEED THAT BOX GONE

    Rear Spkrs: Polk DB5251
    Subwoofer: Kicker 07CVR154 15"
    4 Channel: Polk PA200.4
    Mono amp: Polk PA600.1

its a sealed box, u dont need bassbox pro. Its just 6 sides. just play with some internal lengths widths and heights and divide them by 1728 until you get your desired volume

Who doesn't like Kicker? But sealed boxes are fairly simple, and they have the box recommendations on the website.

Re: I know, nobody likes Kicker

The box reqs that I saw on the site were for the compact box. I was looking for the max

I always see threads that are bashing kicker subs. Just figured that it was the red headed step child of subs around here

no that title belongs to JL because they cost too much for people around here. I likes kicker, have had almost all of their newer lines of subs

Re: I know, nobody likes Kicker

Im almost positive it shows the recommended size besides the compact, atleast it was for my older cvr. There is a list, which only shows compact and right above that if you read it, it should tell you the recommended sizes.

I was looking for the panel dimensions. It does show those for the compact but I am looking for it for the max. Maybe I am missing it. Here is the link to what I found.

Re: I know, nobody likes Kicker

Nevermind.. You already had this info haha.. You will have to figure out the panel sizes for youreslf.. I would go to the12volt.com and use the box calculator on there and play with some sizes to get your volume.

Re: I know, nobody likes Kicker

THANK YOU. Couple more questions though. If I got the calc to come out to 5.248 is that close enough to 5.2 or does it need to be exact? Also the kicker site says that it is 5.2 including the sub displacement so do I need to go a little bigger for the box?
