Was using the tutorial to design a ported box...here's what I got:

2.5 cubic ft. NET
33.75 square inches of port
32hz

16H x 25D x 15W

port dim (HxW)= 13.5 x 2.5

port length = 31.36

port displacement = 0.79625

gross = 3.47625

The port is going to be vertical (firing upwards) so it should go down, turn all the way around (180 degrees), then come back the entire height distance and turn 90 degrees. It technically should go like .36" into that last direction but I'm just going to leave that out, it only raises the tuning by like .1hz. If I had Autocad on this computer or knew how to use sketchup I would draw it up, but I don't...so use your imagination

Oh and the sub is a 12" BTL with a displacement of .18

I didn't account for any bracing because I didn't think I really needed it...and I also just used 90 degree turns in the port, didn't brace the corners to make it fancy like some of the others I've seen...

are you just guessing or did you actually check it? lol, this was my first design, I don't want to build a box that sounds like ****
