Help w/ box design for MTX 9500 12"

Here's the story.

Traded my alpine type X 12 for this mtx 9500 12

FIgured I'd try it out.


Now I wanna be a good jew and reuse the box I build for my 13w6v2's (sealed)

I have taken out the front maffle and the middle devider.

The outter dimensions are 30 width X 15 height X 18 depth.

I figured out I can build a 2.6 cubic foot enclosure w/ a 3.75 X 13.5 port size (50.625 sq in) tuned to 38.3 Hz

Will this be good for this sub?

I like the type x and all, but mtx 9500 sell for more in colorado. So I figured I had nothing to loose

yup. i got it like that and rocked it for about a year. my buddy is still running it in his camry(?). it really doesnt effect it much. i got 2 tickets with it. lol.

That should be fine seeing that on the website it only calls for 1.75cu ft tuned at 35hz.
