How thick should my fiberglass enclosure be?

This is my first time doing fiberglass. I used masking tape and fibered the mold to the enclosure. I pealed the mold off my car but however it is still very flimsy. The corners and rounded parts are semi strong but the long flat surface is very flimsy. I only used one layer of fiberglass cloth and one fiber glass mat all over. Normally how many layers of the fiber mat do i need?

HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME SOON CAUSE I'M CONTINUEING TOMORROW MORNING. BEFORE WORK. I DONT WANT TO WASTE TOO MUCH TIME DOING THE UNNECESSARY.

Keep doign layers untill you feel its strong enough. There is also a few HOW-TOs on fiberglassing at the top of this forum.

You can also criss cross rope on there too.
